Alpaca Sleeves

“MANGAS DE ALPACA”

Alpaca sleeves were garments used by administrative workers during the twentieth century to perform their jobs.
Were wore above the jacket, from the wrist to the elbows, in order to protect the worker’s garments. These “sleeves” were made in alpaca wool, having the name of “alpaca sleeves”.

The portuguese expression “mangas de alpaca” refers to professionals who have routine functions and are extremely zealous about bureaucratic aspects.
Although, SOSO’s “alpacas” are everything but that: they are full of joy and love to enjoy life …

Every product comes with a postcard (10 cm x 15 cm), which illustrates the portuguese expression and explains the meaning of it, both in portuguese and english. It can be framed.
